Our Founder
Queen Mary’s School was founded in 1981 by the visionary educationists Mr. K.J. Mathews and Mrs. Molly Mathews—a couple driven by a profound passion for nurturing young minds and building a better future through education.
With deep faith, unwavering dedication, and a heart for service, they laid the foundation of an institution that would stand for truth, knowledge, and service. What began as a small initiative to address the educational needs of the local community soon flourished into one of the most respected schools in Cuttack.
Their dream was not just to teach children, but to build character, ignite curiosity, and instill moral and spiritual values. Under their leadership, Queen Mary’s School became known for its affordable, high-quality education, English-medium instruction, and a commitment to holistic development—academic, physical, emotional, and spiritual.
Their legacy lives on in every classroom, every prayer, and every child who walks through the school’s gates, carrying forward the values they held so dearly.
We remain ever grateful to our founders, whose vision continues to guide us toward excellence with compassion and integrity.
